“I created Carolina Love Events in 2016, shortly after moving to Asheville from Seattle. I started dabbling in weddings while in college at UNC Chapel Hill and quickly fell in love with the details.
We partnered with Homewood in 2017 (an Asheville wedding venue) as their in-house planner and we have had Kristy as the in-house coordinator for Homewood since 2023.
As we grew, we began to offer additional services including floral design which led Sarah to our team in 2020. Debbie came to us while in her last year in college at WCU in 2021 and has since become a vital part of our team.
We’ve now planned 100s of weddings all over Western North Carolina and love every couple, moment, detail, timeline, backup plan, 15-hour day, and tired feet that this wild and rewarding role brings us. It’s very important to us that Carolina Love Events is a welcoming and inclusive company, allowing all couples to feel comfortable and celebrated.”
